It depends on how into the series you are. It's good, but if you don't really like the previous ones, (despite that this is modern warfare), you likely won't like this one all that much, either. You're better off waiting for a price drop, or a trade some games in.

I would say, with a resounding YES, that Call of Duty 4 is worth more than $60. The single player storyline is very well done and very fun to play, and the online multiplayer, despite some earlier issues, is great. Surely it still has a couple bugs, but all-in-all it is an amazing game. I have a friend who has a 360 and a PS3, and as much of a Halo 3 fanboy as he is, he agrees that CoD4 for PS3 is simply spectacular, and in many ways better than Halo 3.

depends: if you play online: HELL YES ITS WORTH 100!! if you do not: wait until the price drops till 40 or so. its still worth playing the campaign mode!
