@Simon: If I had two pairs every year starting from my actual date of birth, I would in fact have 78 now. I had my first pair for my 16th birthday (November 15th 1993), and I have had at least one pair every year since then. However, most of my old pairs I had to get rid of because they were worn out, but I still have more than 20 wearable pairs.
