What would you fear most in the dark, alligators, grizzly bears, vipers, or lions?

Well.....I would never go in water with alligators so they are out. (especially in the dark!!!) I don't think bears or lions could creep up on me in the dark and I wouldn't stay around if I heard something moving around in the dark. So I guess it would have to be vipers!! And I really hate snakes.

Hands down: Vipers. I'm not usually scared by snakes, but in the dark? I'd piss myself if I felt something slithery coiling up my leg in the dark.

Alligators, because I would cuddle with any of the others. Alligators are slimy!

I wouldn't worry about a viper as they love it warm and sunny sop they would be hiding and waiting for the sun to get them moving and active. I wouldn't worry about alligators either because I'm not going in water in the dark. I probably wouldn't worry too much about grizzlies because they rarely attack people even though they are out at night. We have black bears here and we just walk loudly to make them get out of our way. Lions are active at night and may mistake me for prey. So I guess I would work more about lions at night, but not here in upstate New York:-)

none of the above, they are afraid of me... and since i am me and not usual deranged... not afraid of myself in the dark . thingthat would scare me most?? and ex GF voice in the dark... close by... this one is evil....

Well, since it's dark and I can't see any of the animals, it doesn't really matter. I could fear anything posing a threat to me, even a hole in the ground that I can't see. But if the darkness implied is not a complete darkness, then my answer would be the same as in daytime conditions. None of them. I'm not afraid of animals that I haven't harmed, and I seldom harm any willingly.

While lions would be the most stealthy, a grizzley the most brutal an alligator's death roll and slam makes my skin crawl.

Vipers possibly,as a child I had a small pet alligator as a pet and at times would have it at the foot of my bed when going to sleep.The next morning it would be under the bed or in the closet.

Cats are total ninjas, so i think the lion i would most fear.

Lions. They do most of their hunting at night with their "dichromatic vision." They can see 8 times better than humans in the dark.

Im Australian we don't have any of those here. Camping is pretty safe in 99% of the country. I wouldn't swim with a crocodile or camp where they are likely to be.
