I 1st heard this maxim at a very early age and took it to heart. Upon every "peak experience" since, I always take an observational step back to slow down time a bit and improve the 'existential view', as it were, and milk the experience for all it's worth! Thx. ;-)

True. So many things. My youth, my health, my home, my vehicle, my ability to work, family and friends but most of all when my ability to choose for myself is taken away or severely limited to the point I feel I have no other choice.
