Hi M Moon, hugs to you! I am not a fan of comb overs, but there must be some women who appreciate it, or there wouldn't be so many men who choose this "style".

Sometimes women do it also. They think it helps cover the fact that they don't have enough hair in the spots they are trying to cover. When baldness first starts out, it is easy to comb over, but as it gets worse and worse, some people don't know where to stop.

They can only see themselves from the front in the mirror and they think that they don't look as silly as all the other men they see that do it.

That is a darned good question. They would look much better just bald. I saw one guy that actually wound the back of his hair around and around on top. It must've been pretty long stretched out.

b/c they are lying to themselves about how it looks. its sort of like bad fashion- people dont realize HOW bad they look.

My dad does the comb over thing, and its not pretty! My mom says hes too vain to let it be natural.
