  • A fuel injected motorcycle has a high pressure, regulated fuel pump. It will pump until the pre-set pressure is achieved and then cut out.( some simply reroute fuel back to the tank) Working properly, it will come back on as the fuel is used and maintain proper pressure to fire the injectors. When you just turn the key on without starting the engine, it is reaching max pressure and either shutting off or rerouting fuel back into the tank. If it is rerouting, it is not under load and may be running but not making near as much noise as it does when under pressure. As long as the bike runs alright, it has to be working.
  • Take it back!
