  • I'm sorry I couldn't give you enough points to bring you to the positive... There has recently been another question along these lines, with very good information. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/162376 Hope that helps!
  • Breastfeeding ia a supply demand system....so hubby really shouldn't cause a problem for baby. I would just make sure baby gets fed well first and for long enough that baby gets plenty of hind milk. Good luck...despite the fact some people gave oyu a negative for the question, as a mom who nursed FOREVER I commend you and your hubby for finding a way to keep the fires burning with a newborn/infant around. In addition to breastfeeding your little one !! Nursing babes and the lack of "attention" husbands start feeling can often be a source of stress...
  • Breastfeeding FAQs: Supply and Demand http://www.tinyike.com/breastfeeding-faqs-supply-and-demand/ Yeah, its an open and honest question, dont know why people would give a negitive. Some mothers need to pump alot to get the supply or keep the supply high enough for the baby. And, as breastfeeding a child can bond the child to you, and you to the child... It just might work the same on your hubby, dunno.
  • is it odd that this question excites me?
  • It will most likely cause you to produce more milk, Have fun!
  • Only if he's a heavy coffee drinker (LOL)
  • hey if he really wants to do it ,then by all means let him , in a way it will bring all three of you closer together.
  • Go for it! Im gone go ask my wife the same question!
  • It will probably stimulate the production of milk.
  • EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Have you ever seen that little britain sketch? Reminds me of this! If it is stimulated the milk keeps being secreted in all seriousness!
  • He didn't use it all but I made more. I let him finish off after baby and made more each time. I went from a 34 to a 38 DD. All happy!
  • That is a good Idea! I wanted to brestfeed but I could not get enough milk to produce so I had to use formula. If I have another child I will try this to help me produce more milk. Those machines hurt and dried my nipples.Natual lips might help!
  • no you will just make more. if anything let him nurse a little before baby. this way baby gets all of the hind milk. which is more filling and nutritous.may help him sleep better.
  • I think this is a very wonderful idea. What could be more natural than nursing both your infant and your man at your bosom. Hope you are having a blast.
  • Well if he does, retaliate! Use up all of his milk =P
  • It's NOT not natural, if you consider that in years past, before formula and birthcontrol, most women would have been nursing non stop for years and it would have been difficult for any man to not get some milk when acting NORMAL.
  • R U Serious???? thats a lil akward!
  • Why not. Years ago my wife let me nurse once in a while. Mostly when the baby was fussy and not taking much. So when she felt over full I took care of the excess. She liked it, so did I.
  • I let my husband nurse on me when I was breast feeding my babies I had no problem in satisfying both. The only thing I told him he had to be available at the same time every day when my milk became established, he was and we both enjoyed it, it actually brought us closer together we have been married for 15 years. About a year ago he asked me if he would be able to nurse again because he missed the closeness. I said sure why not. I went and talked to a lactation counselor and she said it is possible to produce milk if he would nurse on each breast every couple of hours for about 5 to 10 minutes on each breast and in time my milk came in. well she was right it took about 3-1/2 weeks of him suckling for me to produce milk. I have been nursing him since and we both love it.
  • Well....it's a supply and demand thing so you will actually have more milk. That is amazing that hubby likes that kind of stuff! My hubby gets freaked out at the slightest leak.
  • NOPE.I think its a great idea to breastfeed your two babies plus its helping you also+++++
  • Not at all, with it being a supply and demand system, he will likely cause you to produce more milk since the more of a demand there is for it, the more the breasts will produce!
  • I think that is absolutely repulsive.
  • It's supply and demand, although is he really 'nursing' from you or just being kinky? If it's a jeolousy thing or something it's different, but to each their own. When I was breast feeding it was a once in a while sort of thing and not for any particular reason other than if he wanted to touch them he got the coinsiquenses. Which didn't bother him, but he also didn't crave it or do it all the time. As long as you are having fun that is all that matters. Good luck!:)
  • WELL THE THOUGHT OF MY HUBBY DRINKING ON MY BREASTS DOESNT SEEM NICE.YOUR BABY NEEDS THE WATERY MILK AND THE HIND MILK.THE WATERY MILK TAKES AWAY THE THIRST AND THE HIND MILK FEEDS HIM.AND FOR CLEAN REASONS AI WOULD SAY DONT LET YOUR HUBBY DRINK WHERE YOUR BABY IS DRINKING
  • I think that is pretty gross! He can have access to your boobs, but not to the milk.
  • This question and its answers really made me laugh.. thank you very much for cheering me up.. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole thing but to each their own! :D I found it amusing...
  • Dont worry ! feed him full with your breasts but first breastfeed your child, your breasts will make the required milk so no need to worry, its natural as husbands also wants to breastfeed as most couples start intercourse nearly after 4 months.......so dont worry about milks availability its natural, there'll not be any shortage.. let ur husband have your milk..
  • I think it is an excellent idea. I hope to do it someday with my husband. There is nothing like the closeness you feel when nursing the man you love. You are giving him something no one else can. Good for you!
  • Eeeeeew! What next?
  • It would probably save your family a lot of money on milk. Another cent saved is another cent earned so if you keep yourself healthy, you should be able to provide milk for the family.
  • No, no, the more milk taken out, the more the body replaces it. I weaned my baby four years ago, but my winderful 6'2" husband still nurses from each breast at least every evening - sometimes twice a day on the weekends. We find it a very sensual thing. In fact, I orgasm as he nurses. A win, win situation.
  • I'm feeling kinda queezy.
  • Its natural, women milk is very benefical. Its good, if you milk is useful for your Husband and baby. if something is good for your Hubby, then its not bad to do , for the better and happiness of him
  • Don't do it!! LOL, Just imagine the other ways he may want you to parent him.
