I fly often and always worry.

When the Navy flew me to Hawaii, we left San Francisco with 4 radial engines running. Just as we passed the point of "no return" the plane lost one engine. A few minutes later it lost another engine. Then about an hour out of Hawaii a third engine was acting up, but the flight engineer kept it running but barely. When we were going to land the landing gear would not extend. they hand cranked it down. It locked down just before we touched down. This was on Friday November 13th, 1967. It was a little scary.

No a few others around me were. One time I was in a 10 seater plane lighting struck somewhere near the plane it dropped a couple of hunred feet I screamed we are all going to die I thought that was funny a couple of others didn't.see the humor in that coment.
