I don't think it's needed, firstly whoever wins the war writes history, and secondly, give it 100 years, and with slight tweaks in knowledge over than time period, can transform it. history

Time travel is for sci-fi movies meaning not real. In reality, things happen in a natural way. History is done and gone by and there is nothing anyone can do about it in the present moment.

Stephen King wrote about that in 11.22.63. He seems to think not.

Dean Koontz wrote about it in "Lightning" too. He and King theorize that changing the past in some way we think would be better, or more just or whatever, could change the future in often unpleasant ways too. 12/20/23
