Probably the Illuminati as they are controlled by the Rothschild family. The church has been loosing ground for many years because they have become irrelevant to what is happening in the world.

Neither of these have nearly the influence on the world that they had had at their peak. The Catholic Church is particularly having trouble getting younger people to care. I think they were already losing credibility, but the last proverbial nail in the coffin was the child abuse scandal that was exposed to have been systematic and widespread. The eastern orthodox church lost its influence a century ago with the spread of communism. Other churches tend to be less centralized and so they hold less widespread power. The illuminati - well, all I can do is laugh out loud hearing that term. It's not that there is no such thing, of course, but it's not the shadowy monster of rich bankers everyone keeps parroting. It's basically a joke in 2023, or, well, since the 19th century for that matter. That's not to say that there aren't rich bankers controlling geopolitics, but it's certainly not through any secret society that calls itself "illuminati." But, I suppose if you want to take that thing and refer to it with a term that already refers to something totally different, then sure, the "illuminati" (extremely wealthy bankers looking out for their own and each other's monetary interests) is more influential.
