Can an email with an error be used as evidence against you in court
I know that email can be used as evidence. However making grammatical errors or having mistakes in email isn't uncommon.
If you have already hit the sent button and didn't realize you made an error, how do you address that in court?
The error is as follows --- "I'm not asking any" but it should have been "I'm not asking many" -- the "m" did not appear because android Swype was used.
However, any isn't of many has completely changed the entire meaning of the email.
You can prove to court what you meant and also show the logic behind it. But I'm not sure if that counts
