I dreamt myself fleeing Earth due to nuclear fallout rendering it completely uninhabitable. I travelled to an entirely different solar system and landed on some random alien planet with a small group of maybe 30 people. As soon as we landed and verified the atmosphere was breathable we left our space ship to explore out new home. I remember my attention being instantly drawn upwards towards an absolutely giant white orb somewhere in the stratosphere - the orb giving off dozens of streaming lines leading down to the surface. Naturally I tracked the lines down to the source and noticed numerous huge monoliths, all streaming white lines of gas/energy(?) up to the giant white orb. This orb seemed to be creating a cloud layer that made it hard to see the stars.. Upon this realisation I noticed none of the stars I was looking at were familiar. I felt a great weight in my chest as the sense of homesickness hit me. I could see two small red suns past the synthetic cloud layer, surrounded by an array of alien stars. No pattern recognition. It felt deeply unsettling. It bothered me more that I couldn't recognise a single constellation than there being a giant magical orb above me. I wasn't concerned about alien life being a threat, starvation etc.. The only thing my mind was centred around was the fact the sky didn't look right.
