  • The professional I hired used glue traps.

      Since the problem started, I've tried all sorts of tricks and traps and as cruel as those seem, it's the best option IMO. I don't want my loved ones getting sick because of uninvited pest animals.
  • fix ya house up so they cant get in is the best way...... when i had a doggy door we got mice come indoors , and when we replaced it with a security door mice got trapped indoors ,so because i cant kill things we got friendly mice traps and caught and released em all and now we dont have mice becasue they cant get in๐Ÿ˜‰, all windows are screened also

      I'm not sure how they get in, but my house is well over a century old.

      well you must have holes somewhere in floor boards etc or under the doors or in the windows :)

      We had a cat when the mice started harassing us. Maybe we need a meaner cat.

  • I use those plug-in rodent repellers. they make an annoying high pitched sound only rodents and insects can hear, and it drives them away. they really do work.

      Which brand did you use? I tried two different kinds and only one of the two worked at all, and that one was only temporarily effective.
