• I've eaten cow tongue. Don't remember the exact sides, but I don't remember it being covered in gravy. My mom was from the north. She didn't really do the biscuit n gravy thing, or make much gravy. I remember it being tough but served like any other meat. I've also eaten brains scrambled with eggs, but I don't remember if they were pork or beef.
