Halloween is celebrated because they believe at this time of year the veil between the dead and the living is at it's thinnest, and this allows them to pass over. It's also the time of the year where the days become shorter than the nights, hence darkness reigns. The Satanic Church has two major holy days, Halloween and Beltane. Halloween is the eve of all saints day. So yes, it is a holy day. We have to take these facts into consideration when we are deciding whether it is acceptable to become involved in such practices.
