I use gift bags, tissue and lots of ribbon. I love gift bags, because they're re-useable.

Cinders717Yes I am reusing bags from my bday for sister's birthday this month:)

Neither as both are wasteful and harmful to the environment. Instead I use Furoshiki (Japanese gift cloth, for the uncultured who don't know what it is) a not only is it a gift in itself, as each cloth is uniquely made. But also means the gift was selected and given with heart. Not something picked up at Walmart last minute on the way in.

My neices (half Japanese) have used that as well. Very pretty. BTW, not knowing what Furoshiki is does not qualify one as uncultured. -

LOL so true!

both

Both, but that is, if I have plenty of gift bags to give.

It depends on the occasion. If it’s someone’s birthday I put their present in a gift bag. If it’s a Christmas gift, I use wrapping paper
-
paper.is much prettier
-
sometimes both
-
I prefer giftbags because I am terrible at wrapping gifts. Plus bags look good
-
I use that new Cadillac self-wrapping gift paper. Great stuff.

I reuse gift bags, other than that I don't wrap gifts. I also don't 'gift wrap' my trash in trash bags before throwing it away. Its a waste of money and bad for the environment.

A gift bag is easier.
