How to transport a large dog in an emergency without a car
I dog sit and i will be sitting a golden retriever who is 14 years old and having medical issues. I do not own a car or have access to one, I was wondering if there is a way to transport her if an emergency happens and i need to take her to the vet? Some way that i dont need a car for.

Either call a taxi, or Uber for a lift.

I see friends and taxi are already listed. Do you have public transportation? How far away is the vet? Are you able to lift the dog? Do you have a bike, wagon or stroller? Seriously the owners would probably reimburse you for a taxi if there was an emergency. Do they have pet ambulances? You do have the vet's number, right? They could probably make a house call for an emergency. I'm pretty sure you don't have to bring your pet Rhinoceros to the vet. At least I hope! Maybe you should talk to the dog owners about that.

The best way to carry a big dog to other place is sit on the dog and start journey :P
