• Practice with real people. This isnt talking. Every day get out of your comfort zone and talk to two new people.

I don't know anyone. We live in a high crime area. I wouldn't try with a stranger in person. Thanks anyway.
    • Mircat
That's an excuse. Go buy a cannister of pepper spray and go out in the real world. Every where you go there are sales staff and clerks who are not gunning for you Talk to them!

I do have a can of red pepper gel,and I am prepared to use it. I've been having it,and I don't see this as an excused, sorry. I have a mind of my own!

Also,I realize that these people don't want to talk to me,but you just clarifyed that. Thank you! They are anti social, not me. :)
    • mugwort
Maybe try visualizing talking to people.
  • Yes,I do and I try walking everyday to dream up stuff.
    • CelesteLeeFKAC*
      Good! :)
  • I do! I made myself a pet worm out of only a little piece of yarn! I think I'll name him "fuzz" no capital letter, because he's just a worm, after all! But if I want to talk to someone I just do it. And my mind usually thinks in facts and feelings rather than fiction. I wouldn't call myself a dreamer at all. And I think I use supposition and intuition a lot more than imagination. Except when it comes to dreaming of a better world and helping those whom are less fortunate. Especially those whom have thinking problems.
    • CelesteLeeFKAC*
      Yes,I agree. Thanks Joy! :)
  • So you'll think this is queer, do you imagine? Is it like, pretending? Like pretending everyone is a dinosaur and rexing it down the hall?
    • CelesteLeeFKAC*
Lol,no! I just imagine more for empathetic understanding. :)
  • Everybody has an imagination and some people have constructively trained it to act out the situations before they go into them. And some people just let their imaginations go wherever they go for entertainment
  • Beegie beegie beegie, OK Buck ( from Buck Rogers and the 24th century)
  • Yes I do have a great imagination and if gods and spirits were not already invented I probably would have invented them.😖
  • STOP tickling me; do I have an imagination; geesh.
  • Yep, imagination is a vital part of learning and development.
  • No. I like to stick with what’s real rather than be involved in my head in cloud nine. It’s better to learn from real life events, people and situations. Being involved in an imagination can make a person delusional because they are not in tune with what’s really going on around them and that they lack in empathy and awareness. It’s better to be in tune with the real world rather than be disconnected from it when having an imagination.
