  • Jobs come and go - always have been and always will be. Just as generations come and go. For example we have little need for troika riders (3 horse and carriage drivers if you don't know what it is) Chimney sweeps and typists are practically gone too. But they have been replaced with SUV taxi's, tradesmen and word processing software. Jobs and technology move on with the times.
  • There will be no more need for bus drivers, taxi drivers, truck drivers because of all these self driving electric vehicles we're going to have - be it private or public. Which means gas station employees and mechanics will be replaced by electronics technicians. I expect some whiz kid will figure out how to make all vehicles hover over the road .. instead of making contact with people pushing bicycles across the road at night. So there goes everybody who worked in the rubber/tire industry. Industry in general will be completely dominated by robotics .. there go your factory workers. Doctors will no longer actually practice medicine, they will rely more on electronic gadgetry to diagnose and cure ailments as well a replace prosthetic limbs. The mail man (postal worker) is already in danger as we speak. Chefs and cooks will be a thing of the past. Instead of eating a cooked meal we will be eating meal replacements in the form of a pill, powder, or liquid. All containing proper daily nutrients and vitamins to keep us healthy and strong. Oh yes ... and your sex workers and house maids will be extremely life like robots. The writing is on the wall, just look around.
