My two story house will be 100 years old in 2020! It still has gaslight pipes sticking out of the walls! They are closed up and we have painted over them and use them to hang pictures lol. Trying to do maintenance on an old house like this is endless and expensive.

Mine was a trailer I bought when I got out of the Navy. Had it paid for in 15 years. I lost it when I got sick and couldn't work because it was on a rented lot. Now I live in an apartment on disability. I'm too old to do maintenance anyway and I have a pool I don't have to clean! I have subsidized housing that includes water and power and when something breaks I call maintenance and don't have to worry about it.
