Can you really call them trains if there's no tracks? Wouldn't they just be flying cargo aircraft? And wouldn't it be cheaper just to parachute the load down in a drop than to make several stops?

Actually so called "flying cars" have been around for years. It's mass producing them profitably that is the problem. You clearly do not know much hence why you failed to figure why one needs a "flying train" when cargo planes have been around for decades.
