Good question ! I think they cancel each other, and it can get quite amusing for those sitting on the sidelines watching the sniping action. : )

It is six of one and half a dozen of the other. They both deserve each other. If all trolls picked on each other exclusively, I wouldn't say anything about it. It is when they pick on harmless, innocent people that I take a swing with some vitriol of my own.

The way I see it, each troll is then getting a taste of his or her own medicine, and it jolly well serves them right.

I don't like to see anyone being abused. And I know in the scriptures were instructed to turn the other cheek. But my scriptures also say “Inasmuch as ye are not guilty of the first offense, neither the second, ye shall not suffer yourselves to be slain by the hands of your enemies.” (Alma 43:46.) We are allowed to defend ourselves.
