01-03-2017 A tip I got from a house designer: Try to get some pictures of kitchens on boats, preferably navy boats. They are designed to fix a few hundred meals three or four times a day, so you can't match them for convenience. And then you can pretty it up so the missus likes it. Headline for this tip: "Designers talk about cooking, but cooks don't talk about designing. They already know what's right."
