  • Hopefully. Unfortunately I have already run into some of that just after three weeks. Some people take offense at seemingly anything.

Yes, I've noticed that as well. It seems we have some returning members who still bear grudges of injustice from the old AB and they still want to lash out. It would be nice if they could lose the bad attitude & leave the past, in the past, where it belongs and move forward. There are no dragons to kill here, yet these people don't seem to believe that this isn't the old AB that burned to the ground, and they are busy looking for old skeletons in the new closets of the new AB. While they rave their threats, and rattle their toy sabers, and stomp their feet like spoiled children, they impress no one but insult everyone. In fact I think they are only drawing unwanted attention to themselves and inviting unwanted drama. To them I say - let's leave the drama to the 15 year old who lives in fantasy land & thinks her parents hate her.

I agree entirely but I think it is more that some people just feel persecuted in general and they use the site to lash out. Which I suppose is fair game but not very interesting to me. I received a disturbing comment I did not understand at all - all about sun signs and obscure dates and hurting innocent people.
  • That WOULD be nice!

I didn't know you couldn't unfollow. I thought you were speaking of those whose questions and comments you would just prefer not to see and you could just choose not to see their questions and comments and answers.

It seems kind of silly to not be able "un-follow", doesn't it ? Hopefully it's on the "to do" list.
  • It does seem the only way to un-follow someone is to have your profile wiped and start all over again.

Oh my! I guess I was right to be hesitant about following someone. On the other hand it's sad to know that those who chose to follow me are now stuck with me.
    • Anoname
Guess I'm stuck with you. I've been following - not stalking - you since you first arrived.

I was also hesitant at first because I thought it was kind of "stalker-ish", and I decided to ask people if they would mind my following them. From another point of view ... one chatty person can overrun the feature, and I stopped including new ones for that reason. Since then I've got 35 following me, and I realized it was an easy way for friends to find me, being as otherwise we have no way to search for other members and friends ... like we did on the old site.

You were the second Anoname. I'm sorry.
