  • While I sympathize with your desire to do this (I've owned almost exclusively manual transmission cars in my life), this is an unwise idea. In the long run, it would be *far* cheaper to sell your current car and buy a similar one that came with a 5-speed manual from the factory. There is no drop-in bolt-up kit to do this. It would involve the manual transmission, new engine/transmission mounts, new CV axles, a clutch assembly, a clutch slave cylinder, a clutch master cylinder, a clutch pedal assembly, a new Engine Computer (since the existing one expects to talk to a Transmission computer) and custom wiring to make it all work. Just the parts alone is probably a larger cost than what you would pay by selling your car and buying the same car with a factory manual transmission. Good luck.
