The Merovingian dynasty was replaced by the Carolingian dynasty. I'm sorry to disappoint all of you, but there's nothing secret about this bloodline. We are not a bloodline of Satan, nor are we descendants of Jesus Christ. The authors of the Holy Blood and the Da Vinci code made a false connection based on two pieces of information. The first is the fish symbol used by the Merovingian family. The authors claimed that using the fish symbol was a sign that they were from Jesus, since Christians today use the fish symbol.
