I don't think he is particularly.He is known,occasionally I have seen one of his books in the library, but I don't know any children or adults who have his books and I didn't see any when I worked with young children.I quite like his style myself.

Most of his works are not recognised in the UK. Cat in the Hat, however is the exception.

Dr. Seuss's works have been translated in 20 languages. I guess "English" is not one of them.
