My 17 year old son "clapping"! It drives me "bonkers"! He doesn't clap normally, it's a VERY aggravating "pop, pop, pop, etc.)! I have to threaten him everyday, (it's just a habit he almost cannot break). But, we are still gonna try!

Being in the service and operating artillery amongst other weapons, I hear ringing in my ears all the time. Being young and foolish and thought I was cool I didn't use hearing protection. Much of the damage I incurred was not the noise but the concussion from the weapons discharge. Howitzers 105mm, 155mm and 8" can create quite a BANG!!
