From what I understand they are at least 5'9" , possibly even taller.

Who cares? :) They look good no matter how tall they are.

Some are 5'9 such as Izabel Goulart and Heidi Klum... others are 5'11 such as Karolina Kurkova and Gisele Bundchen.. I haven't heard of a model that was under 5'9.
