I certainly have! Also, if you dont have the album, or the movie, you can watch parts of it on youtube. I believe you search "The dark side of oz" or something of the sorts.

It's called "The Dark Side of the Rainbow" and it sucks.

-
Yes I have, it's quite bizzare.
-
Yes I have. I like Pink Floyd a lot so I needed to see what the hoopla was all about. I answered a similar question to yours here: http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/461594 Sadly the link I posted that took you to the video is dead now.

I never have. I've known a number of people to talk about the trick, but never known a person who's actually witnessed it... I had started to think it an urban legend.
-
Yes, I never thought it would work but I must admit, it was pretty cool.
-
Yep. It's really cool.
-
Yes, it works when the album plays the first time through, but it repeats half way through the film, and doesn't synch up as well...
-
No, but I've heard about it. Seemed like a stretch to me since you had to start the record at a certain part of the movie instead of right at the beginning.
-
yes,and there is an official version of the movie/album out. It's called Dark Side of Oz. Though remember the album doesn't cover the entire film. Only about the first hour or so is covered by the album. I hear you are supposed to start the album at the MGM lionss second roar. It's a fun thing to do. I don't know how much it really compliments the film, Oz is a visual masterpiece while Dark Side is a musical masterpiece, you can't really lose.
-
No. But I once watched Towering Inferno whilst playing the fiddle.
-
I watched it on youtube.com, but I just don't see it or get it!!
-
yea and its pretty cool
-
Multiple times! A couple times on shrooms, which was... very hard to describe
-
Why not just smoke a fatty and get it overwith?
-
Nope, i've never seen it but i hear its really cool!
-
I love BOTH, but never thought of blending them. Now, this old dog may learn a new trick!!! 😊😋😍 THANK YOU!!!

I've never played "Dark Side of the Moon", and it's been several decades since I've seen "The Wizard of Oz". However: I recently READ the book, and it's quite a bit different (and better) than the movie, as one might expect.
-
I watched part of it to evaluate it for myself. It was awful. The Wizard of OZ is a timeless classic. The Dark Side of the Moon album is as well. But that doesn't mean they should be combined.
-
No, I don't mix movies with music.

Do you find watching "Singin' in the Rain" on mute to be enjoyable? "An American in Paris" without the music would be a travesty.

Yes. I didn't "get it." I have a strong suspicion that psychedelic substances are often involved when people say that this combination is somehow magical.
