  • I believe so, I think Jesus died for the sins of the world. I believe in eventual, Universal Salvation. I don't believe in eternal damnation. Why would God destroy his own creation. You wouldn't destroy your child would you? If you would forgive your child anything, is God less forgiving than you are?
  • Why yes he has. :) Hi PP how are you doing. It has been a while since we've been on the same questions. I hope all is well with you.
  • Nope, he certainly hasn't washed mine anywhere!
  • I am sure he has or has forgiven me..however me ,being human as I am, I just keep on getting my soul dirty again,. Heck soon he is going to need "scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner for me" he he he.. thanks Jesus! hey Pirate !
  • Nope, I wish he would though. There's a big pile of ironing he's more than welcome to aswell.
  • All that I am sure of is Mr. Clean took the stains out of my jeans.
  • I don't know much about christian beliefs. But According to Hindu mythology God won't wash off our sins. If he washes off then people will commit more and more sins.
  • yes, he sure has.
  • Now you mention it, there was a weird guy in my shower with a sponge this morning, not sure if it was Jesus...
  • Yuppers. He sure has. When He died on the cross, He took all my transgressions with Him, and now His blood is covering me and washes me as white as snow everytime that I sin and ask for forgiveness.
  • No, he created them. ... A quote from the movie 'Bad Boy Bubby': "You see, no one's going to help you Bubby, because there isn't anybody out there to do it. No one. We're all just complicated arrangements of atoms and subatomic particles - we don't live. But our atoms do move about in such a way as to give us identity and consciousness. We don't die; our atoms just rearrange themselves. There is no God. There can be no God; it's ridiculous to think in terms of a superior being. An inferior being, maybe, because we, we who don't even exist, we arrange our lives with more order and harmony than God ever arranged the earth. We measure; we plot; we create wonderful new things. We are the architects of our own existence. What a lunatic concept to bow down before a God who slaughters millions of innocent children, slowly and agonizingly starves them to death, beats them, tortures them, rejects them. What folly to even think that we should not insult such a God, damn him, think him out of existence. It is our duty to think God out of existence. It is our duty to insult him. Fuck you, God! Strike me down if you dare, you tyrant, you non-existent fraud! It is the duty of all human beings to think God out of existence. Then we have a future. Because then - and only then - do we take full responsibility for who we are. And that's what you must do, Bubby: think God out of existence; take responsibility for who you are."
  • Yes He has. Thank-you, again, Jesus for your sacrifice and for loving for me so much. In His service, <:))))<>< "My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge." Psalm 62:7
  • Sorry but no such person in my beliefs,if you do somethink wrong its you whos done it and you who has to get out of it,no one else to be blamed!
  • Yes, and it humbles like no other thought.
  • nope I am still as flithy as ever and getting dirtier everyday
  • Yes, He has.
  • Uh, I think maybe. Considering my relationship with Jesus, I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't. I mean, I mock his very name. Openly. I've done some pretty messed up stuff too. I don't think even Jesus could forgive me.
  • I hope so or I am so toast :-(
  • YEA!!!! its pretty much amazing!!
  • He couldn't even save himself.
  • Nope. I washed them away myself when I decided the concept of sin was rubbish.
  • Yes. Oh, happy day!
  • no, no one should have to clean up my mess but me.
  • I don't know, I took a wrong turn and I'm too stubborn to ask for directions.
  • Ye he has. I have repented for my sins and still do.
  • I don't need to rely on a concept like Jesus to make everything alright - I take full responsibility for my own actions, good and bad. If more people did this, the world would be a happier place.
  • I hope so... Otherwise I am gonna fry like a piece of chicken...
  • He tried but unfortunately the plughole was blocked.
  • No, he nor anyone else has washed away my 'sins'. But prehapse he might was away those of the trolls who I know will rate me down.
  • Yes. I have changed completely now. Over the last 2 years i have become a more religious person by such a long way. My life has changed. And it is all thanks to Jesus and God and everyone who is looking over me and helping me in my life.
  • He had no cause to, I am perfectly sinless. hehehe
  • Yes. In His own sinless blood that He shed to save a wretched sinner like me at Calvary. -In the service of the Master. Thank you and God bless you!
  • What sins?
  • Yes. And I can count on him being there for me each and every day.
  • Yes. Think of the love God has for us to sacrifice his son for our sins. I keep making mistakes, but I think God expects some failure from us ~ after all we aren't perfect.
  • oh yea. in a big way.
  • No, Maytag did.
  • Yes. I don't know why He did, though. I do not deserve it. But He loves everyone.
  • Jesus, the “son of man” as he most frequently called himself, did not come to wash away anybody’s sins. He did not bring any such new rule but said you have to implement the old Law for your salvation. Why not BELIEVE the great man, he puts it quite clearly in Matthew 5:17-20 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, TILL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from THE LAW, till all be fulfilled. WHOSOEVER therefore shall break ONE OF THESE LEAST commandments, and shall TEACH men so, he shall be called the LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: but whosoever shall DO AND TEACH THEM, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall IN NO CASE enter into the kingdom of heaven” (my capitalization)
  • No. I wash away my own sins... Dig the guy though. :) <Photo by Rickster> Click on photo
  • ABSOLUTELY!
  • Yes, he has. And I'm so thankful.
  • lol actually, yes. A couple of times. I think that anyone who grows up with parents of a certain religion get caught up in it (voluntarily or otherwise) at some point. I got baptised more than once between like, 5 and 12 because I never felt any differently afterward. The last time was at a friend of mine's church for Christmas I believe, and I finally looked at myself and started reflecting on my beliefs. I didn't think that any diety could "wash away" bad things I had done anymore than I believed that everything was created or that anything could be completely evil. So, I washed my hands (excuse the pun) of the whole baptism thing, and learned about other religions.
  • Hell Yeah he did and will forever! LMFAO!!!!
  • well i am still sinning today so i think No. All i can do is to ask forgiveness.
  • Yes He has on June 22 2003
  • No, but he still wants me for a sunbeam.
  • No, but he still wants me for a sunbeam.
  • No, but he still wants me for a sunbeam.
  • No, but he still wants me for a sunbeam.
  • No, but he still wants me for a sunbeam.
  • Yes, Jesus has washed my sins away through the blood of His sacrifice at Calvary.
  • No, but he offered to wipe after I went to the toilet. :P
  • He forgave me of all my sins, the day He saved me. Praise God, He has forgiven me of my sins of the past, the future, and the present.
  • I am extremely proud and blessed to say I've accepted Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal Savior and he has lifted me up by His amazing love. It's so wonderful how God saves us from eternal death and gives us eternal life with Him if we just repent of our sins and open our hearts and let Him in. He has changed my life in so many ways for the better. He's my ROCK!
  • I can wash myself, thanks. If I ever catch jesus in my shower trying to wash me, I'll call the police on the pervert.
  • No, and I'd rather he not do so. I'm perfectly content living with my sins.
  • I thought he already did. Isnt that what he died for? Our sins?
  • Sin is a religious invention to keep people under terror all their lives and we all terrorised people are controllable better. Someone told me he had and it felt good but it was just a dream. After i grew up and opened my eyes to reality and reality is better than the dream.
  • No, I bathe myself nowadays =)
  • yes he sure has.. thats why i love him so much and thank him 4 being in my life without him i wouldnt be da loving caring and understanding person i am... i love the LORD and you should 2.....:)
  • Yes and I thank Him every day for doing so. I know I'm not perfect and He knows that too, and He knows as well as I do that I'm gonna screw up and think something I shouldnt or say something I shouldnt. I do know that I go to Him every day 3 times or more and make sure everything is alright. He convicts me if I do wrong and I know I better get it straight with Him. I thank Him so much for His sweet Holy Spirit and for the conviction I feel when I've done wrong. If He stopped convicting me, then where would I be....on the road to hell again, thats where.☻
  • Heck no, it's easier just to shower.
  • What sins?
  • That's a big no. He didn't die to wash my sins away. He died so that a way would be prepared for me to be forgiven provided I strived to live my life according to his example. Continuing to sin and thinking all I have to do is say sorry Jesus and all is oke and I can do it again is not striving to live by his example. Yes all men are weak and will sin. If you continually to strive to learn from the mistake and ask forgiveness and do all in our power not to sin again then we wil truly receive forgiveness. If we just keep doing the same things over and over and think just aaying sorry is enough to be forgiven we are sadly mistaken. Did Jesus not tell the adulteerous woman to go and sin no more?. For us to think the sacrifice he made on the cross is a free ticket to do what we please is a big mistake.
  • I didn't think to ask his name, I was running like hell.
  • Yes and I praise God for it!!!!!!! Hallelujah Jesus washed away all of our sins when He died on the cross. He was made SIN. He lives!! We are to live for Him now, and allow Him to rule over us now, as He definitely will forever and ever. Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!!! He created us for Himself! COLOSSIANS chapter 3: Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. Workers, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
  • Being a Christian is an individual thing -- a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is alive, and wants to know and be known by you. No "religion" can save you, nor can any denomination or church. Only Jesus has the power to save you and give you eternal life. In the book of Romans, the apostle Paul writes "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We see here three clear ideas: 1- A public confession 2- Jesus is Lord 3- Believe God raised him from the dead As recorded in the Bible, listen to what happened when the disciple Thomas encountered Jesus after he had been killed and was risen from the dead. Remember, that Thomas wasn't present the first time Jesus came to visit his disciples after his resurrection, and Thomas did not believe that he was alive based on the testimony of the others: "A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." The points are the same: 1- Jesus is physically alive. His body is resurrected. He is alive today, guiding his disciples just as he has always done. 2- Jesus is Thomas' "Lord." We don't use that word very much anymore, but it might be translated as "boss" or "king" or "master." Jesus is the one who tells us what to do, and when to do it. Sort of like the Army. The sergeant tells you where to go, what to wear, when to do everything. Jesus is the "master sergeant" of our lives. Living in us by his Spirit, he wants to direct our lives like that sergeant. Jesus' goal isn’t just to teach us what to do, but how to do it. Everything is to be done by his Spirit. God created human beings to live by his Spirit. He calls this "life." When we were living without his Spirit, he called us "dead." 3- Jesus is God. This is part of making Jesus Lord. Thomas said it outright. "My Lord and my God." All the disciples said it. Jesus clearly claimed it. But it is the hardest teaching in the Bible. The Jews heard Jesus say it, and crucified him for it. Most unbelievers will only say that Jesus is a good man or just a prophet, which is the stumbling block which keeps them from salvation. Why? Because Jesus must be God to be a sacrifice for all creation. Unbelievers ultimately don't want to put aside their own egos and admit they are sinners, admit they are weak, admit that they are helpless and lost without Jesus. The power of life is "Christ in us." Now, here is another breakdown in faith that keeps some from salvation and receiving the Holy Spirit: They will say that Jesus is God, but only as they see themselves as Gods, too. They believe in a hierarchy of Gods, with themselves among them. The Father is above Jesus, Jesus is above Satan, and Satan is above you and me and everyone else, etc. Can you see the problem? Admitting that Jesus is God doesn't mean anything if you think you're a God, too. "Jesus as Lord" demands that we know that he is the one and only God--otherwise we would be serving multiple "Lords." God is one. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one. Just like each of us—who are made in God's image--has a body, soul and spirit and still are just one person. This is crucial. You don't have to fully understand heavenly things to understand this one thing--Jesus is your Lord and Master and God. 4- Because Jesus is Lord and Jesus is God, he hears our prayers and will save you if you ask him. We believe this by faith. The Holy Spirit is a "seal" or sign of that faith, and he provides the wisdom and power we need for daily living. To the point: Can you make Jesus "Lord" without knowing all the answers to every question you might have in heaven and earth? Can you let go of having to "do good works" to make a place for yourself in the hereafter, and instead live moment by moment by the Spirit of Christ? Can you humble yourself as Thomas did, and let Jesus be in charge of everything? If you can do this, Jesus will gladly receive you and begin that personal relationship. You can have confidence that he will do this. Hear these words from John 10:25-30 in the Bible: Jesus said, "The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one." God bless you. Pray, ask and receive eternal life and the Holy Spirit from Jesus. He's in charge of all things in heaven and on earth.
  • Most definitely. Now I'm white as snow.
  • yes, thank the good Lord!
  • yeah and he also lost a sock in the dryer
  • yeah and he also lost my sock in the dryer
  • no, just my socks
  • YES!!! Praise the Lord!!!
  • He has. Unfortunately, many Evangelical believers confuse the process of being saved, and being 'righteous" or grace-filled and rpsume that a ONCE FOR ALL decision is amde and they have no room for ONGOING CONVERSION OF LIFESTYLE. For them, Jesus just covers over their crap, the image martin Luther used for the medival dung/trash heap, coedred with snow but that negelcts the continuing process of daily working it out, accepting the free Gift of salvation by "working" that is,. doing acts of lvoe and mercy which curb or deny our human instinct to be prideful and not compassionate. not 'trying to win brownie points' of which Catholics are regularlyfalsely accused, by self-righteous prigs who do not understand Grace and Good Works and mis the whole pint of pual in Romans, voerlook james' letter and the Gospel, particularly Matthew 25..., but trying to work with the Holy Spirit to rid ourselves of PRIDE, which is the root of anger, resentment, hatred, jealousy, and breeds ignorant comments about other Faiths or branches of the Christian faith. Not to mention silly posts from un-believers here in answer to this question.
  • No. When I was baptized, my original sin was washed away, the rest of my sins are my own. I take responsibility for them, confess to them, apologize for them and try to make up for them. Jesus died so that my sins would be forgiven, not washed away.
  • what? who is jesus? oooooooooh is he that cute guy at the club in Farfaraway with the mermaids, leprachauns, santa, unicorns, and singing dishes?
  • When his blood was shed, he did it to save mankind, for them to have a chance to be with him in paradise. We are all sinners and will continie to be in this world. Where i go to worship we try our best to immitate Jesus Christ. Jesus was a man but perfect, he knew what we are going through and could understand us and was the perfect reflection of his father. So to put it short, we are all born sinners and Jesus made a way out for us.
  • Yes he has, I just wish I didnt make him work so hard at keeping me clean.
  • I am not Christian, but always wondered about that. If they believe that Jesus washed their sins away, Then why do they fear hell ??
  • Sins don't exist.
  • This is such a bizzarre, sado masochistic concept. Jesus is God. God creates the idea of sin and makes the list of things that make that grade in order to make his "beloved children" feel guilty. Jesus (God with a in sandals and a dress) then washes them away. Wouldn't it be simpler to just wash them both right out of your hair?
  • Yes, with battery acid and gin.
  • Only if I ask
  • He sure has. Thank God for that.
  • He washed my face. I might have had a sin or two on there I didn't know about I guess.
  • I'm still soaking
  • unfortunately the state of california dont see things the same way! damn traffic court!
  • I haven't got any. A few mistakes. A couple regrets. Nothing major. But certainly no sins.
  • he did, he washed them in his blood. now i am sin free.
  • Yes He Has!!!
  • He would need Niagara Falls to wash all of our sins!!
  • Are you Christian? My 2 cents.
  • yes & yes & totally yes & a amen thank u Jesus!
  • actually His Father did it, you know what's his name. he washed them away with jesus's blood. one blood cell was sufficient.
  • If God washes sins away without having us to learn from it then it is like giving candy to children who just behaved badly without teaching them the right way. Our sins are closely connected to the word Repentance. Unless I repent - God is faithful to forgive me. But if I am not - I am still guilty. Jesus washes away my sins - for things that I have done, said or even have thoughts that I may not even consider it sinful but in God's eyes unclean. I have to learn from God what is unacceptable to his standards, I have also the responsiblity to make amends, forgive others and to get my act together. GOD's standard of behavior can come in high orders- Love,Joy,Peace,Patience,Kindness,Goodness,Faith,Gentleness and most of all SELF-CONTROL. It's a high stardard of living..but not unreachable with God's GGrace and loving Help.
