• I would watch the videos in health class about smoking, showing the lungs and everything. Then I would go home and have a cigarette. Past a point it becomes.. a necessity almost. I didn't care if it was killing me. It felt so good it was worth it somehow. I was in a very very stressful situation also, and it would help my stress. I had plenty of people tell me I should quit, and many provided valid reasons, but thats not what made me quit. I just woke up one morning and decided to. However, despite the fact that I have sustained lung damage, and I have seen what it does, I still get that craving and want a cigarette so bad I almost give in, and it has been 5 months since i had one. You don't really care what its doing to you, you just want that feeling of pleasure.
