  • Try using baby wipes or adult wipes. They will help with the chafing. As far as not being able to clean yourself completely, perhaps the extra moisture from the wipes will help with the cleansing. Another solution might be a soft cotton wash cloth and a skin friendly cleanser with a neutral ph and possibly aloe. Since you are already chafed, you could apply zinc oxide or diaper rash cream now and possibly after each bowel movement.
  • More fiber in your diet for one. And try some baby wipes. You can find ones that are flushable.
  • Stop storing your toilet paper next to your sand-paper? I get that trouble from time to time - changes in diet sort it out. Plenty of fibre, less crappy junk, increase the fruit and vegies a bit and all becomes well. Buy the softest loo-paper you can find in the meantime!
  • wipe harder
  • Sounds like you might of blown a rectal seal......
  • Your diet is the cause. Drink at least 1 liter of water a day, and try adding healthier foods to your diet. Your stool should look like a banana if you are doing things properly...
  • hose yourself down, you are wasting toilet paper and chaffing yourself when you could go out in the yard and use the pressure washer! ta daaaaaaaaaaah No more chaffing, no more wasted TP Besides manuer is good for the grass!
  • shower after you crap.
  • Get some vaseline and spread it on a piece of toilet paper after the first couple of wipes and try that. It will be more soothing and hopefully help wipe better.
  • Flushable bathroom wipes
  • Though the problem could be insufficient fiber, it could also be too much fiber. You don't want too much or too little as it could cause leakage. Ewww.
  • It usually means too much fat in your diet. I do notice the difference when I go low on the fats. Less wiping!
  • Sounds like you need a shower after everytime you go.
