  • It depends on what type of pet it was and how they passed. Certain viruses for cats and dogs can linger up to three months, plus cats mark their territory on everything in the house so if you bring home a new kitten it may pee in strange places trying to mark its' own territory. I'd ask your vet depending on what type of pet has passed. Stuff like fish, just clean the tank/bowl and you can get one right away. As far as your kids go, it depends on your judgment and how they are handling the grieving process. Sometimes it's better to replace a pet right away, other times the kids need time to talk about the good times they had and make space to love something else. Good luck! +4
  • You kidding right?
