Aside from the exterior walls to our house and interior walls to the bedrooms and bathrooms, I DON'T like many interior walls! I prefer as much OPEN SPACE as possible in a home! What say YOU?

My kids nix any desire to have an open floor plan. I prefer as many walls and floors as I can afford between me and their racket. Payback is a bitch and I must have put my parents through hell!

I like a large, open living room. I'm ok with the rest of the rooms being small.

Me too. That's how I designed our house, with a minimum of walls to maximize the space. No passages and a slightly higher than normal ceiling. It's not a very big house but it FEELS spacious. We agree on something, Milli. ;)

I like rooms. I'm old school. Guests dont belong in my kitchen when I'm cooking and a messy kitchen is not a lovely view from the diningroom.
