A killer whale could. But most whales eat krill. A lot of people think Jonah from the Bible was swallowed by a whale that's the story that's perpetuated. Actually the scripture says he was swallowed by a big fish. Not a whale.

Jewels Vern Correct. It just happens the the blue whale is the only creature with a gullet big enough to maybe swallow a human. Except a whale is not a fish. Since the story is not possible, it is a figure of speech: a parable. -
