I can type my notes much faster than writing by hand, but often in my classes we use the greek alphabet for obscure variables. These, and an inability to enter equations make me usually use paper.

Pen and paper. I can write faster than I can type, and if I am doing something mathematical, I don't have to worry about not being able to type certain symbols, I can just draw them easily.

Can't make an exact choice here, 'cause it takes both. I doodlre notes while on the phone, then make it scheduled in my notebook, where it's easier to coordinate stuff with my coworkers.

There is something rather nostalgic that I like about paper and pens. I have a thing for pens and journals and have loads of each, which is silly but I love a fresh page and all of the possibility it offers of what could come of a blank sheet of paper.
