Not really. Cheating and getting intoxicated are both related to self-control. If you can't control yourself when you're intoxicated, then you shouldn't be getting intoxicated.

Not in MY book!
-
NOOOO its just as bad if not WORSE. People say all the time "i was drunk!" but all being drunk does is make you not care about things like your responibliites. Being intoxicated must makes the REAL you come out. Soo yeah its still pretty shitty..
-
Personally I don't think any cheating is forgiveable. Being intoxicated is NOT an excuse for cheating! +3
-
No. Lets compare this to a crime. The criminal states, "i did not mean to rape your daughter. i was intoxicated". being intoxicated is not a defense in criminal court and neither is intoxication a defense for cheating. No matter how you cut it, being drunk on alcohol or pills is not going to set you free.

It doesn't excuse murder, robbery, rape, and other crimes. Why should it excuse infidelity? NO, NO and NO.
-
Anything is forgiveable. Its just not forgetable
-
The first time a person becomes intoxicated to the point of not being in control should be the last time that happens. If you don't know your limits, don't party. And don't ever give that as an excuse to me!
-
Nope. +5
-
any cheating is forgiveable as long as the person who got cheated on is a forgiving person, people change... although it shouldn't be tolerated.
-
NO CHEATING is forgiveable!!!!
-
i dont think so.
-
No cheating is forgivable.
-
well cheating is hard to forgive for just about everyone.... not that people cant forgive. But sometimes the drinking is the biggest problem and needs to be addressed because people do stupid things when they drink and when it becomes a problem they need to do something about it.
-
No cheating is cheating bottom line
-
NO, just an excuse. :)
-
As if two wrongs could make a right???
-
Not in my eyes Alcohol is no excuse.
-
I wouldn't throw an otherwise good relationship away because of intoxicated cheating, if it happened only once. I guess for me, yeah, it's forgivable. Doesn't mean I like it or wouldn't be hurt. Just means I can get past it. People do crazy stuff when they're loaded.
-
i thnk its forgiveable but not forgetable....
-
It depends on the person and the circumstances. Any kind of cheating CAN be forgivable with the right people and circumstances. Extreme intoxication can be considered a mitigating factor if the person so chooses. However, drinking to the point that you lose control is a problem in and of itself. Anyone who has been forgiven in that situation should be do everything possible to prevent either problem from arising again.
-
hmmmm it depends on who is cheating! If it's me I would hope so if it's my spouse..... I don't think so!
-
no.
-
Why do you ask?
-
For me no. For someone else maybe so. It's all up to the individual and what they will put up with. To me being drunk is not a valid reason for cheating it';s just a poor excuse.
-
No way!
-
Anything is forgivable if you choose to forgive. I do not know if you believe in God or not, or in Jesus; but can He forgive cheating? The corect answer is yes; therefore you also should forgive.
