When you pass current through a circuit the current flows from positive terminal of battery(Any Electric Source) to negative terminal. but the electrons flow in opposite direction. Resistance is a device in a circuit that obstructs the flow of current and lowers down the value of current in circuit. You might not get this in one go its a whole big concept of current electricity

A resistor is a resistance of electron flow in a electronic device. Plastic has very high resistance, copper has low resistance. A RESISTOR is somewhere in the middle at the required amount of resistance which is measured in Ohms. You can tell the amount of resistance on the resistor by the colour of the bands around it.
