The size of my computer (win xp) screen is either too small or too big. I try to adjust it using "properties," but it does not work. Anybody please help.

Have you tried it a 1024 x 768 pixels? That should work.

The monitor itself has adjustments for vertical and horizontal size and position, usually accessible from an on-screen menu that has *nothing* to do with the PC; you have to use the buttons on the monitor to adjust them. Some video cards also have the ability to make similar adjustments, but I prefer to do so from the monitor end. If your monitor lacks those adjustments then replace it with one less than fifteen years old.
