Why does the Olive Garden offer free wine samples but don't card anyone? Is that because the samples are free? I thought if you SERVE alcohol to anyone, they must be carded....Thoughts?

Now that you mentioned that, I am curious! I got a free sample, no card, but when I chose a drink they wanted to card me. How silly!

I don't think it's policy to do that. I've been carded before receiving the sample. The sever probably figures they can get away with it.
