I have found over the years that children love to trace the family. You can show them photo's of the oldies, if you have them and watch how seriously they look at them. A family tree can entrance them, even though they may not quite understand what it is all about. As they grow older, they will come back to you, asking for another look at the photo's and to hear the history that goes with them.
