  • No not at all. A cemetery is a public place and as long as they are just jogging quietly through I would not take offense at all.
  • Not at all, I don't understand why people would take offense. as long as the jogger stays on the paths and doesn't trample the flowers.
  • If there was a burial ceremony taking place, I would find someone jogging through the immediate area as disrespectful. As a general rule, most joggers are aware of their surroundings and choose their route accordingly.
  • nopers
  • No not at all. So long as they leave me alone and dont stop and stare, then why should it bother me :)
  • No, especially if they were quietly minding their own business. Cemetaries are peaceful, tranquil, colourful places. They can be inspiring for many people, especially for one who is trying to improve their health.
  • I wouldnt' take offense at all. Cemeteries can be really calm, relaxing, beautiful places, and probably pretty safe to jog in.
  • No, I wouldn't, they are not direspecting the dead.
  • not at all, I cant understand why people are so easily offended!
  • No. Not all all. I might decide to do the same.
  • No, sure wouldn't. Some are quite lovely to be in, in fact. As you said, I'd take offense if someone were showing disrespect and jogging over the tops of graves .. but you said that wasn't happening. Someone wants to jog along a path through the cemetery? I'd say "good for them". Nice to see someone "visiting" .. and as a normal part of life. Rather refreshing, actually. :)
  • If I was at the funeral I probably would think badly of it, but if I wasn't at the funeral, and in a much normal state of mind, I'd say it was absolutely fine. Hell, the person could be visiting a grave themselves.
  • I wouldnt take offense but I would find it a bit strange.
  • No, I wouldn't be offended. They're just minding their own business. A funeral procession would be a different story.
  • Nope. Not at all.
  • That wouldn't bother me!
  • I've always been brought up to respect the graves and that includes walking over them but in this ever changing world it seems all this is being swept away, the other reason I wouldn't like to walk over a grave is they sometimes collapse when the coffin rots through and then the earth above collapses, sorry to be gruesum but its true so you could sprain an ankle or something when it drops down a foot or so.
  • wouldnt bother me if they arent walking on the graves...but i wouldnt take my afternoon jog thru a cemetary
  • It wouldn't be offended now... However after someone I love dies for some unknown reason I take offence at everything any stranger does which makes it seem like they don't realise the world has just ended. If that makes sense. So if it was soon after the funeral I would be.
