Not sure, I'm very oblivious to many things - I would've never known my b/f of 6 years liked me until he finally straight out asked me. I guess he flirted for a few months but I never noticed it as "flirting" :-/

Last Saturday, I was in a restaurant and I could feel someone staring at me. I finally looked right at the guy thinking he would back down, but he just met my eyes and went right on staring. Not an enjoyable meal at all!

I think some girls think they're being checked out when really someone is just looking at them (for example, thinking they look like someone they know, or trying to figure out if they know them from somewhere) ... or even if you're just looking in their direction. I was looking at a girl in the pizza place last week, thinking she was pretty, but with no interest in her whatsoever; and I got "the stare," lol. Youth is so narcissistic sometimes. Or maybe it's just the insecurity that comes from inexperience.
