I have visited someone in prison, they have many Guards. -
I have never had to stay in one, but I have visited someone in jail and you'll see many tears of the inmates and thier families it is heartbreaking.

yes ive been in jail many times but not for the obvious reason. u will find inmates, bars, roaches, toilet paper, correction officers, weights, desks, towles, brooms and a bunch of other stuff too.

I've been in one, but only to visit dad. Lots of orange jump suits there too.

I have been inside both of the ones that my husband worked at. You will find really ugly colored walls.

I have been in a jail probably half a dozen times and a prison, gee, I couldn't possibly keep track, maybe 3 or 4 dozen times. Corrections officers, inmates, teachers, attorneys, etc. Security cameras and monitors, metal detectors and wands, handcuffs, belly chains, ankle shackles, visiting rooms with tables and chairs, fences with razor ribbon, cafeteria, infirmary, commissary, tool rooms, chapel, the list goes on and on.

Jail at the station is usually filled with drunks. Processing them can go either funny or extremely sideways into violence.

I have never been an inmate but I have been inside. I didn't especially care for either as a visitor and I am fairly certain that I would not enjoy either as a more longterm guest.

8/11/2023, last December I traveled to San Francisco, California. I got a chance to visit Alcatraz Island, also known as "The Rock." Despite its violent history and creepy atmosphere, visiting the prison offers an intriguing view into the incarceration system, and allows you to take a step back in time to picture what life would have been like for the criminals, such as Al Capone, George Machine Gun Kelly, Robert Stroud and other notorious criminals.
