• Is the 2nd OS installed on an entirely different hard drive, or is it installed on a partition? I'm not so sure about this, but what would happen if you just deleted the partition that's got the 2nd OS installed on it?

For even more effective removal, use the Disk Management console in Windows XP to reformat the drive and start fresh.
