Yes. I was in the presence of my mother while she was dying and i was glad that i had the time to say goodbye. Technically i was in the presence of my grandma when she was dying because she slipped into a coma for a couple of days and then when the whole family was together she passed away

I worked in a hospsital for many years, although not a nurse, I had to take blood off people, often that is the last thing that is done to people close to death, so yes Ive seen it on quite a few occasions.....
