It's ALL good. Besides, who else will still think you're beautiful on those bad hair days?

Stability. Being able to grow and change together and being able to encourage one another to be a better person, but not try to change the other one at the same time. Patience. No nitpicking. Dealing with the little things right away before they become bigger problems later. Not bringing each other's pasts up against each other when we both feel that it is dealt with and the other one is genuinely sorry, but understanding that if the past is brought up....it probably means the other one doesn't feel as though it's completely dealt with JUST YET. Just an all-around easy-going, fun loving couple. Two people who can be themselves around each other and work through each other's differences and appreciate each other's strengths. Two people who can know each other's weaknesses and still love each other. That's what I want...and that's what we had in the beginning. I want it back. Guilt on his part and trust issues on mine are holding us back. We do trust each other, care about each other, and love each other a ton, though. I don't want to rely on the blind hope that "It'll get better in time", but I do know that I want this to work and he wants this to work. I also know that everything won't just suddenly start being perfect overnight. However, we are both patient and forgiving people, so I'm pretty sure we can get to the point where we both want to be.... a fun-loving, good-spirited relationship where we are committed to each other, but don't feel tied down at the same time.
