You can try carefully using a toothbrush and some toothpaste to smooth out minor scratches. If that doesn't work, there are disc repair kits available that might work.

Here's an article and a few videos on the subject: http://www.wisebread.com/quickly-removing-scratches-from-cds-and-dvds Personally, I use Brasso. Remember, always wipe the disc in a straight line from the center to the outside. Never use a circular motion, as that screws up the disc.

I always use a little toothpaste on my finger, apply from center outwards and then wipe very gently with a soft, damp cloth.
