For me, it would be less about what was served and more about the setting. I can imagine sitting at my dinner table with a plate of food in front of me. It's quiet, the house is empty, and it's snowing outside. From the houses on either side, the sound of laughter and people having fun can be heard, but I can only watch. Okay, now I'm really depressed. I'm thankful that my holiday this year will be nothing like that. I'm heading to Chicago, my whole family will be there (at least 20 people including 2 toddlers), and it will be anything but quiet. Cheers, everyone! And Happy Thanksgiving for those who are celebrating. :-)
